Glow & Sparkle Collections operates in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2012 (Kenya) and is committed to fair, transparent, and lawful trade practices.
1. Right to Quality & Safety
We guarantee that all products sold by Glow & Sparkle Collections:
Are of acceptable quality
Match their description
Are safe for use when used as directed
2. Returns Eligibility
Due to health, safety, and hygiene considerations as permitted under Kenyan law:
Opened, used, or tampered skincare and cosmetic products are NOT eligible for return or refund.
Returns are accepted only if the product is:
Unused
Unopened
In original packaging with intact seals
Return requests must be made within 48 hours of delivery or purchase
Proof of purchase is mandatory
3. Non-Returnable Products
The following items are not eligible for return under Kenyan consumer law exemptions for hygiene-sensitive goods:
Opened or used cosmetics or skincare products
Products with broken safety seals
Items damaged due to misuse, negligence, or improper storage
Promotional or clearance items
Free or gift items
4. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Products
In compliance with Section 35 of the Consumer Protection Act:
If you receive a product that is:
Defective
Damaged upon delivery
Incorrectly supplied
You must notify us within 24 hours of delivery, providing:
Clear photos or videos
Proof of purchase
Upon verification, we will provide one of the following remedies, as required by law:
Replacement
Repair (where applicable)
Store credit
Refund (where replacement is not possible)
5. Refunds
Refunds will be issued where legally required or where replacement is not possible.
Approved refunds will be processed within 5–7 business days.
Refunds will be made via the original payment method or store credit.
Delivery and shipping fees are non-refundable, unless the error was on our part.
6. Exchanges
Exchanges are allowed only for unused and unopened products
Requests must be made within 48 hours of delivery
Products must be returned in original condition and packaging
7. Allergies, Sensitivities & Patch Testing
In line with Kenyan consumer guidelines:
Customers are advised to review ingredients before purchase
A patch test is strongly recommended before full application
Glow & Sparkle Collections shall not be held liable for allergic reactions or adverse effects once a product has been opened or used.
8. Return Shipping Responsibility
Customers bear the cost of return shipping unless the return results from our error.
We are not liable for items lost or damaged during return transit.
